Our History

Established in 1987 and trading as Brisbane Driving School is primarily known in the, transport and training industries for honest and trustworthy advice and service.

The Queensland, family owned company was established on a foundation of significant industry experience. The family established the business and quickly gained a reputation as a trainer determined to produce quality outcomes and to work in a complimentary and integrated manner with our clients and partners.

Brisbane Driving School is a Registered Training Organisations (RTO), responsible for delivering nationally accredited qualifications. Our quality training and assessment is tailored to the individual and the organisation’s needs. As a Registered Training Organisation Brisbane Driving School has agreed to operate within the Principles and Standards of the Australian Quality Training Framework.

The decision to undertake training is an important one. Whether you are seeking to update or upgrade skills, or embarking on a new career, our team of friendly and dedicated staff is available to help make your learning experience enjoyable.

Brisbane Driving School is to provide training services with integrity and excellence which add value to individuals and business, as leading provider of training and assessment services, which include cutting edge and innovative solutions specifically developed for the transport and training industries.

Our Training Objective

Brisbane Driving School is committed to providing our clients with the confidence that their quality objectives will be met.

Our training objective is not simply to delivery training material for the sake of itself or our company but to deliver quality training of the highest level that enables students to contribute significantly to the productivity and efficiency of their workplace or environment while maintaining workplace health and safety standards of the highest degree. In fact the safety of our clients (and in turn those who work with them) is our first priority.

Training and Assessment Guidelines

The company has personnel with appropriate qualifications and experience to deliver training and facilitate the assessment relevant to the training products offered.

We have developed learning and assessment strategies appropriate to the scope of registration. Assessment will be fair, valid, reliable and flexible and meet the competency standards requirements.

Client Services

The company has a commitment to provide sound management practices to ensure effective client services. We have client service processes for:

  • Issue of student assessment results and qualifications
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Fees and Charges Refund policy
  • Literacy and/ or numeracy Support (if required)

Service Standards

Brisbane Driving School service standards have been built on the consistency and quality of service we provide to the transport and training industry.

  • BDS has a structured organisation covering every aspect of performance, training and assessing, administration and management. This allows us to deal with all issues in an ordered manner and continually review and improve our services, processes and systems.
  • BDS continually review all aspects of operations to further enhance our company standards and pursue our goal of quality training.

Services Available Today

Today the delivery of high quality training programs remains of paramount importance to Brisbane Driving School. In response to client needs we deliver a wide range of Heavy Vehicle Training Courses These programs can also be delivered on site for our corporate clients.

Finally, Brisbane Driving School will offering online Learning, commencing early next year. Numerous courses will be available including Certificate IV.

Looking Forward

The company attributes its continued success to the decision to expand to the size needed to meet our clients’ needs but not get too big so that we can provide a timely response to clients when they call for assistance. It’s a model that has worked well for so long and Brisbane Driving School is confident will ensure continued success into the future.

Of course, our future is dependent upon us doing the job well, keeping our training up-to-date and relevant, and being responsive to our clients needs.
